Mountain River Ministries is a non-profit organization (501c3) established in 2006 as a counseling and inner healing ministry. Based on the scripture “May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ” (I Thessalonians 5:23) Our vision was to provide affordable counseling, consulting and prayer ministry for healing and growth without causing undue financial strain on families or individuals. Since then, we have grown to include prison ministry, a Sunday night gathering, missions to Uganda and India, a music ministry, and have assisted others in launching their own visions.

Every Sunday evening we host a gathering in our home and an intercessory prayer group. Meeting for over 10 years, our model is the Acts 2 church, where believers gathered together to break bread, worship the Lord and share their gifts; not sit in a pew and observe.
